As women continue to climb the rungs of business, they're subject to the same emotions and stresses as men. A recent story in the Daily Mail reports that an increasing number of women in positions of power are bullying colleagues.
The survey, conducted by the British Association of Anger Management, says that one fifth of female bosses have admitted to shouting or being verbally abusive at work.
Ten per cent of female executives admit to 'blaming and shaming colleagues when things go wrong.'
One of the reasons behind the phenomenon of the nightmare female boss is the increase in stress levels. According to Mike Fisher, the director of the British Association of Anger Management, women tend to focus on the small stuff so they sweat over the tiny details.

Well, one thing women can't control is their emotions. That's why they become a nightmare bosses and bully colleagues.
I respectfully DISagree! Was a department head in the corporate world for many years and my management style was "tough but fair". NEVER let my emotions get in the way. Very important to "never let them see you sweat" in the boardroom or the shop floor, for both men and women. Women have a difficult time in the corporate world. They have to work twice as hard to get half as far and are called "Bitch", when they handle matters the exact same way as a man.
